CONSERVATION INITIATIVES
Above all, we are stewards of the land.

CALIFORNIA RANGELAND TRUST CONSERVATION EASEMENT
Since 2006 our ranch has proudly been a part of a conservation easement through California Rangeland Trust. This protects the open space and vast ecological resources that we are lucky enough to steward. Vernal pools, pictured here, are home to species such as fairy shrimp and coyote thistle that cannot be found in any other ecosystem.
NATIVE BLUE OAK RESTORATION PROJECT
With a grant from California Fish and Wildlife, we were able to fence off over 30 acres of our ranch to allow for the planting and establishment of native species. This includes trees, shrubs, wildflowers and perennial grasses. Species such as the monarch butterfly have been observed since these plantings/seedings took place.
